Here’s how we do it…
Step 1 – Edge and Crevice Pre-Vacuuming removes years of built up dust, grime and soils
Dirt, grit and pet hair trapped in inaccessible areas, such as tight crevices and carpet edges, are sucked up with a special vacuum cleaner. Areas that a standard home vacuum cleaner just cannot reach. Soft furnishings are also given this treatment..
Step 2 – High-Powered Vacuuming - 5 times more powerful than a standard home vacuum cleaner!
We use a specialised high-power vacuum cleaner called a Pilelifter. It pulls carpet fibres into a tight, upright position, while its brushes release trapped dirt and debris from the very base of your carpet.
Step 3 – Professional Stain Removal avoids permanent staining, discolouring and fabric fade
Incorrect stain removal techniques can permanently “fuse” stains to your carpets and fabric. Myhome Carpet & Fabric Cleaning carefully test each stain before treating it. Our attention to detail avoids permanent staining, discolouring and fabric fade.
Step 4 – Individual marks and stains gently removed.
Where necessary the Myhome Carpet & Fabric Cleaning technician will use a combination of materials (spatulas, dryers and cloths) and the appropriate non-toxic agent to gently remove the most stubborn marks and stains.
Step 5 – Absorbent Spray actually detaches stains.
We layer a very fine non-toxic cleaning spray over your carpet, which is absorbed into carpets and fabric fibres, to detach dirt and stains. This unique process uses minimal water which means your carpets dry faster and the process leaves absolutely no residue behind - so your carpets will stay cleaner, for longer.
Step 6 – Magnetic Soil Extraction.
Our experts use a Myhome Carpet & Fabric Cleaning Accumulator machine to send safe electro-magnetic pulses deep into your carpet and fabrics, which literally magnetises previously unreachable dirt, grease, dust, pollen and bacteria and lifts it up to the surface for removal. In addition to giving your carpets a deeper clean, this process requires a minimal amount of moisture and so provides a much faster drying time than conventional cleaning methods.
Step 7 – Pile Alignment to Put Wear Back into Your Carpet Tips
Your carpets fibres are raked back into line through a process called Pile Alignment so we can effectively treat the fibre tips to put wear back into your carpet tips. This process also speeds the drying time of your carpets.
Step 8 – Sanitiser and Deodoriser
Finally, we use a non-toxic fogging sanitiser and deodoriser to give every inch of your carpets an extra softness, cleanliness and fresh smell for your household or customers and clients to enjoy.
