ChipsAway is a mobile service delivered to customers’ homes and offices, repairing scratches, chips and other minor damage to car paintwork using proprietary technology. Established in 1988, ChipsAway is successfully operating in 13 countries with over 400 franchisees, and is the world’s largest automotive restoration franchise.

A survey conducted by Proactel in 2005 highlighted the opportunity in the marketplace, with 62% of the 30 million cars in the UK requiring a ChipsAway SMART repair, and 81% of car owners interviewed interested in a ChipsAway SMART repair.
